No tools needed to fit plastics wing screws

No tools are required to fit the screws which are finger tightened and claimed ideal for manual assembly. The standard fasteners are made of nylon and are resistant to various chemicals while exhibiting good mechanical properties including wear resistance, low friction coefficient, high melting point and good impact resistance. They are also very light and can be used over a working temperature range of -30 to +100°C. The screws can also be manufactured in other materials, such as PP, PE, PVDF and POM -- these materials are recommended for their good food and medical qualities. For high tensile strength and rigidity, a PA glass filled material is specified to replace aluminium and zinc in tapped parts. The wing screws are available in sizes M5, M6, M8 and M10.
