Thread identifcation made easy
TFC has announced that it is distributing the Combo Thread Detective, a product that has gauges assembled on to a wire lanyard and can be used to identify the thread sizes of metric and imperial nuts and bolts.
"With thread sizes stamped onto each gauge and loops on each end for hanging, the Detective is a practical tool", says technical director Brian Goode. The product also is equipped with a ruler for measuring stud lengths.
"The Combo Thread detective is an incredibly useful tool for the use of engineers and manufacturers."
