With a continued focus on growing its adhesives product offering, Scott Bader has recently developed Crestabond M1-02, with a sub-three minute fixture time, aimed at higher volume assembly of metal, plastic and composite components, and Crestabond PP-04, a 1:1 mix ratio grade specifically developed for rapidly bonding low surface energy thermoplastics, including polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE).
PP-04 is a new 1:1 adhesive with a working time of four minutes, developed for bonding polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE) and other low surface energy thermoplastics.
Additionally, Scott Bader has also developed an even faster, sub- three minute curing, new Crestabond® M1-02 primer-less structural adhesive grade which has been added to the range for high volume assembly of metal, plastic and composite components.
Crestabond M1-02, is now the fastest curing 10:1 ratio grade option available and has been developed for higher volume assembly of smaller parts, which must be ready to handle in under three minutes for cost effective productivity. This is an addition to the current range of Crestabond products, all grades of which are suitable for bonding a wide range of metal, plastic and composite substrates.
