This year’s conference, curated by the team from the University of Nottingham’s world-leading Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CfAM), boasts a speaker-line up drawn from a mix of some of industry and academia’s most prestigious organisations including: Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory; Airbus; Rolls-Royce plc; Yokohama National University; The University of Nottingham and GKN Aerospace.
Covering topics ranging from advances in soft materials for stretchable electronics, the use of AI to improve additive accuracy; innovations in metal jet and multi-material printing; and the use of microstereolithography to produce a new generation of medical micro-devices, the conference will spotlight a dizzying array of technologies and application areas.
Commenting on the line-up, Prof Richard Hague, director of the University of Nottingham’s CfAM said: “These insights…will showcase future AM potential in areas such as sensors, electronics, biology; new materials for healthcare, energy and power generation; as well as the business needs out in the marketplace.”
