Stanley's new cordless blind rivet nut gun

1 min read

A new cordless tool for industrial manufacturing and ground transportation applications is said to dramatically boosts operator mobility without compromising placement capabilities.

It is capable of installing up to 900 (M6 steel) blind rivet nuts with a single charge DeWalt 2.0Ah battery.

The tool offers both pull to force and pull to stroke capabilities. Other features include push-start placement for nut mounting and tool free nose detachment.

The device is said to offer an easy-to-use touch screen display. Its integrated multi-control function enables quick setting control, an onboard cycle counter and poka-yoke (mistake-proofing) features, plus the ability to store data from every job.

According to Stanley, the tool delivers rapid, high-volume placement capabilities while being highly mobile, eradicating the constraints, limits, and hazards of a compressed air line.

Sean McGain-Harding, global product management director at Stanley Engineered Fastening said “With the NB08PT-18 we wanted to offer operators a blind rivet nut tool with complete mobility: a tool that was both quicker, safer and more efficient. Ultimately, we feel we went one better, twinning complete mobility with increased performance and adaptability. It marks an exciting new development in the Stanley technology range of cordless tools.”
