The Bulgarian distributor of joining and fastening technology is now part of the Böllhoff Group.

The aim of the Bollhoff site in Bulgaria is to support local customers with our entire know-how in the field of joining technology. Numerous tier 1 suppliers to the automotive industry are represented on the Bulgarian market, among others. In addition, the country also has strong sheet metal and aluminium processing industries.

A total of six employees work in the new Böllhoff office and warehouse in Pazardzhik. Depending on market developments, further employees will be added in the future.

“We are pleased to announce that Bulgaria is now the 26th country to have its own Böllhoff subsidiary worldwide. A warm welcome to the Böllhoff Group, dear local team,” said Wilhelm A. Bollhoff, member of company management and managing partner of the Böllhoff Group.

Last year, Böllhoff established its first own site in Morocco, North Africa, following an agreement with Midparc industrial park.

"As an economically up-and-coming country, Morocco is very promising, for example for the aviation industry. After initial steps there in 2023 in a small sales office, we as a company now want to grow close to our local customers - including our own production and logistics,” said Michael W. Böllhoff, member of the Böllhoff Group's management team.

The new building in the Midparc industrial park near Casablanca will be occupied by eight employees in May. It offers enough space for production, logistics and offices on around 2,000 m² of building space.

In future, the site will primarily produce special fasteners for the local aviation industry. It will undergo the certification procedures needed for the industry over the course of this year, with the first customer deliveries scheduled to begin at the start of 2025. With the start of this productive phase, the number of employees is expected to increase to up to 15.
