NBT Group looks to a new era

Newcastle based NBT Group is on target to double its turnover by 2015 with an exciting new growth strategy and image for its new generation of customers.

Established over 100 years ago, the family-run firm is strongly established in the supply industry and is one of the longest standing businesses of its kind in the North East, being taken into a new era by the founder's great grandson Toby Bridges, who is pictured in the centre of the adjacent photograph. The group's product range extends from adhesives to office supplies so the firm has created three new company brands to allow clearer room for growth. THINK is its industrial tapes and adhesives business, DEFINITIVE provides packaging and SIDEKICK supplies office products to the SME community. Group managing director, Toby Bridges commented: "When it comes to tape or adhesive needs for your business, THINK provides you with 'problem solvers' which you can rely on to find the exact product to meet your needs. "It's not just about the type of tape or glue, THINK un-sticks industrial problems, helping companies find exactly the right product to meet their needs, even if it is sticking a wing to an aeroplane. Toby continued: "There is a need for greater expertise in the supply of adhesive solutions and THINK provides in-house specialists to cater for this demand. Our range is extensive, but we are positive we can find the one correct product for you and, ultimately, meet your business needs," Toby added. Established in 1908 in Newcastle, the NBT Group now employs 19 people at its North Tyneside base, and recently employed its sixth member of staff in less than two years.
