Osmond’s responsibilities include:
• Developing the large-format 3D printing segment to bolster production capabilities.
• Supporting the integration of CNC operations with additive manufacturing for workflows.
• Sharing insights to pre-empt operational challenges and ensure scalability.
“I’m excited to join Norco at such an exciting phase in its journey,” Osmond stated. “The company’s early adoption of large-format 3D printing positions it as a pioneer in the UK market. I look forward to contributing my expertise to help Norco solidify its leadership in this space and drive meaningful innovation.”
Osmond brings to Norco an extensive background in CNC kitting, additive manufacturing, and 3D printing, having served as director of MSA manufacturing for more than 27 years. Based in Ferndown, Dorset, MSA Manufacturing specialised in the machining, cutting, and kitting of composite cores, fabric reinforcements, and sheet materials. Under Osmond’s leadership, MSA Manufacturing became a key supplier in the UK market before ceasing trading in 2024.
Norco’s managing director, Mark Northey, said: “Max’s expertise in additive manufacturing aligns perfectly with our strategic vision for growth and innovation. His contributions will be instrumental in helping us achieve our operational goals and delivering superior solutions to our clients.”
