Tools designed to calibrate torque screwdrivers

1 min read

Norbar Torque Tools has expanded its range of torque wrench testers with the introduction of three new products specifically designed to calibrate torque screwdrivers.

The new TruCheck will allow operators to perform quick and simple calibration checks from easy-to-read LED displays without the need to call on third party calibration services, saving both time and expense. The tester is accurate to +/- 1% of reading and is simple to use. In common with Norbar torque wrench testers, the new screwdriver testers are available with an enhanced TruCheck Plus option, which includes all the capacities of the standard models but with three modes of operation – Track, Peak and First Peak in both metric and imperial measurements. TruCheck Plus also has a user selectable limit feature and an RS232 serial data output including lead. The new products have been designed with machined aluminium housings, a ¼ inch male hexagon tool interface and work-bench mounting via two M6 bolts. There are two models with vertical tool input for screwdriver testing in the ranges 0.1 to 3Nm and 1 to 10Nm. The third tester in the new range operates in the torque range of 1 to 25Nm and is provided with a horizontal tool input. This version is supplied with ¼ and 3/8 in adapters, so that it can be also used to test small torque wrenches.
