Tapes for bonding difficult materials

The 'toffee' tapes are suited for applications involving the fixing of tiles and signage, and for use in the building and construction sector, Tony Webb, managing director, explains. Available in roll widths from 12mm to 250mm, the tapes are offered in thicknesses from 200 micron to 2000 micron. Also available from CCS is a range of temperature-indicating tapes that change colour at set temperatures thus showing changes in critical conditions. Standard products include adhesive tapes, coatings, and laminating and converting services. "The company recently has installed a new foam laminator in order to increase its productivity and have contract laminating available to customers", says Tony Webb.
