Bonding and sealing dispensing equipment
Precise assembly of electronic components and small products and the bonding and sealing of electrical assemblies, batteries, lamps, and power supplies are among the "typical applications" of dispensing equipment available from Liquid Control.
The wide use of liquid adhesives and sealants throughout industry is a development of their acceptance as a production method, the company believes. "Their advantages in joining dissimilar materials, gap filling, uniform stress distribution, weight saving, and product finish are well recognised. In addition to the electronics sector adhesives have replaced traditional fastening methods across applications in automotive, aircraft, domestic goods manufacture, and sports equipment.
Liquid Control designs, manufactures, and installs equipment for metering, mixing, and dispensing adhesives and sealants. "The production needs of customers are met in the handling of materials from single-component, low-viscosity nitriles through medium-viscosity epoxies, silicones, and urethanes, to high-viscosity structural bonding materials."
