Gosford All-Blacks Rugby Football Club (GABRFC) has received a boost for its Girls Rugby Section from Banbury based Norbar Torque Tools.

The company is donating £5,000 to sponsor the club's girls and ladies teams over a two year period. A presentation cheque was recently handed to the club by Norbar's managing director Neill Brodey at its Stratfield Brake ground in Kidlington, Oxford. Women's rugby is going from strength to strength in England, according to Rugby Union's governing body the RFU. More girls than ever before coming into the game and awards are becoming increasingly frequent. Girls rugby at Gosford All-Blacks is having considerable success, with four girls representing their county and one, Olivia Jones, being selected for the South West of England Divisional Team. Neill Brodey is a keen rugby supporter and believes that GABRFC has made a great contribution to the sport and the local community in the Oxford area. "The Gosford All-Blacks have made great strides in promoting interest in rugby in schools and we are particularly delighted to help the Club to develop its active and enthusiastic Girls and Ladies Section. Rugby can become a lifetime passion for players at all levels, as well as providing tremendous pride and pleasure for their families and friends."
