Must-see components star at southwest fastener exhibition

Highlighting particular fasteners on show at the FAST Exhibition is a near-impossible task with so many thousands of types to choose from on display.

But with new legislation and the need to guarantee better quality fastening and assembly in so many modern applications and environments, captive fasteners, security fasteners and mechanical locking washers are top of the must-see-and-discuss list for an increasing number of visitors to the show. And visitors to the FAST Exhibition are well catered for in all these areas and many more! The show takes place on May 12th at the Haynes Motor Museum near Yeovil, opening at 0900 and closing at 1500. On show at the event will be the biggest selection of fastener, fastening and assembly suppliers and products ever seen in one place at one time in the Southwest. It provides buyers, users and specifiers from all manufacturing industries with immediate and first-hand access to a glittering portfolio of some of the best suppliers and technical brains in the business. Held alongside the FAST Exhibition is the IASE show, the Industrial Adhesives & Sealants Exhibition, supported by the British Adhesives & Sealants Association. The event showcases all the latest developments in the field of chemical bonding and sealing and offers a rich experience for manufacturing professionals using or thinking of switching to adhesives for the first time. The first 250 visitors to pre-register for the event will enjoy the added advantages of a free Haynes Museum pass (otherwise charged at £8.95 for adult entry) PLUS a choice of a complimentary cooked breakfast for early starters (served from 0830 in the museum cafe) or a complimentary luncheon voucher instead. Entry to both exhibitions is free and so is parking at the Museum. One registration provides a badge valid for both events and pre-registration can be done online.
