FAST Exhibition another outstanding success

Hundreds of manufacturing professionals from all over the UK attended the most recent FAST Exhibition, held at the National Motorcycle Museum Birmingham on 18th October.

As the country's only exhibition dedicated exclusively to advanced fastening, assembly and bonding across all industries and engineering application environments, the event clearly remains popular with design engineers, production professionals and senior manufacturing bosses who are keen to put things together better. Organisers NewbyCom Ltd report a record turnout amongst pre-registered visitors who had signed up to attend in the weeks leading up to the exhibition. According to NewbyCom md Mark Newby "We have regularly seen over 80% of pre-registered visitors turn up on the day but yesterday was exceptional when no less than 91% arrived to discover and discuss all the latest developments, products, processes and practices to have emerged recently. The popularity of the event seems to increase as time goes by which we clearly welcome". The next FAST Exhibition takes place on 18th April 2013 when the event returns to the RAF Museum Cosford, which has been referred to by visitors and exhibitors alike as their "favourite location". Surrounded by icons of British aviation heritage the show takes place in the exhibition hall in Hangar One and visitors won't just benefit from discovering and discussing all the latest innovations in fastening and bonding – entry to the fantastic RAF Museum (including the recently unveiled and award-winning Cold War building) is free. The Organisers have also arranged for free parking and catering for all pre-registered visitors too. For more information about exhibiting or visiting please email mark@fastmagazine.co.uk
