Cold forging ...and more
The customer base of Birmingham Coldform Special Fasteners includes companies in the automotive and construction sectors as well as agricultural and general engineering.
"We produce and supply bolts, screws, rivets, eyebolts, and 'T' bolts to stockists, distributors, and supply management companies", says Mike Emson, BCSF.
"Although primarily a cold forging company, we have an extensive machine shop with numerous secondary operational facilities including drilling, tapping, turning, and milling. In addition, BCSF operates a number of power presses and offers in-house design, development, and the manufacture of tooling."
Other forged components and "more sophisticated products" such as six-lobe and securitytype fasteners are being produced "to satisfy a changing market".
