Stainless hinge suits 20mm returns

Market leaders EMKA has introduced a hinge featuring a twin stainless casting with slide-in door fit, which accommodates a 20mm return with increased strength and 180° opening of cabinet doors.

It is considered ideal for stainless steel doors on in-line suite arrangements, such as for offshore applications, outdoor situations or food and pharmaceutical plants. The integral earth terminal accommodates door-to-panel bonding while simplifying door removal if necessary. EMKA has identified an increasing need for stainless steel hinges as more equipment is installed in harsher wash-down type environments. The U5-NPH is part of the company's Program 1110, which provides a solution for enclosure engineers requiring a quick fit AISI 316 hinge incorporating an integral earth terminal. Other stainless steel enclosure hardware components include compression locks, spanner locks, wing locks and many other stainless steel hinges – these are supported by some 500 extruded gasket profiles in EPDM, neoprene and PVC.
