Robust zinc die construction, designed with minimal gaps, provides deterrence against vandalism. The design also integrates a further magnetic lock cover for weather protection and an integrated spring release mechanism for the handle, which is automatically released from the handle body, making it especially easy to operate even when wearing gloves.
The 2-103 is also said to be particularly robust in its construction, facilitating the use of high closure force gaskets for improved sealing.
