The adhesive is promoted as having the bond strength and speed needed to solve many of today’s design and assembly challenges. According to Henkel, it “delivers high quality performance in extreme environments and conditions to also solve many industrial repair challenges. Combining the fastening speed of cyanoacrylate with the durability and toughness of an epoxy, an extensive combination of substrates can be bonded, including those that require a structural bond to fill gaps of up to 5mm”.
This two-part hybrid is supplied in a 50ml cartridge –with fix mixing nozzles – which slots into a standard LOCTITE handgun for application.
