DYMAX UV & LED CURING ADHESIVE BONDS GLASS/GLASS AND GLASS/METAL
DYMAX Ultra Light-Weld® 431 is a versatile glass-to-glass and glass-to-metal bonding adhesive formulated to be resistant to high temperature and high moisture environments while maintaining superior adhesion and flexibility. The adhesive bonds rapidly on exposure to UV/visible light, enabling fast and reliable progression to the next stage in the assembly process.
DYMAX Ultra Light-Weld 431 cures in seconds with broad spectrum UV curing lamps, and also with LED UV systems such as our BlueWave LED Prime and Flood models. It was specifically designed with low shrinkage, resulting in reduced stress on the bond line or larger cured surfaces.
The adhesive offers a high degree of adhesion to glass and metal with the flexibility required for shock resistance. It is therefore ideal for assembly applications in the glass, appliance and lighting manufacturing industries where it enables rapid bonding of glass and metal (stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper) and can also be considered for bonding a wide variety of plastics such as ABS, CAP, PA, PC, PCTG, PEBA, PEEK, PET, PETG, PI, PVC and SAN, as well as ceramic and FR4.
