According to EcoVadis, the Silver Medal corresponds to a percentile ranking of the company’s score. Silver medals are for companies ranking within the top 25%, as well as having a percentile ranking above 20% in each of the four themes (environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement). The medals’ criteria are reviewed annually.
Mark Belton, CEO of Trifast, said: “We are delighted to have received a Silver Medal Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis, the world’s leading ratings provider. This is in recognition of the efforts of a great many individuals, teams and departments within the TR family. It’s important to also note that we see this as part of our ongoing and permanent commitment to improving the environment for all”.
TR, which also holds ISO 14001 certification in environmental management, will be publishing its group sustainability report later in November 2021.
