Tebis offers manufacturing solutions for die, mould and model manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and precision machining with more than 40 years’ experience. Tebis solutions support 2.5D to 5 axis milling, turnmill, trimming, laser cutting, robotic machining as well as industrial design and reverse engineering.

3Dconnexion designs research-based ergonomic hardware, from the SpaceMouse 3D mice, CadMouse, to the Keyboard and Numpad and other 3Dconnexion products. Together, with Tebis and 3Dconnexion, CAD/CAM users can expect time and cost saving, better performance, smooth graphical manipulation and animation.

The Tebis training facility has now been equipped with both SpaceMouse and CadMouse. This partnership also seeks to improve the way engineers work.

Ryan Waters, junior application engineer from Tebis UK explains, “The 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse has changed how we work. Navigating parts feels natural, and the workflow is a lot smoother. Plus, being able to customise the controls makes it super personal and efficient for our team.”

Tebis’s advanced manufacturing solutions serve companies in the automotive, aerospace and mechanical engineering sectors, as well as in industrial design.

Last year, Tebis updated its CAD/CAM Software to include a feature that raises the feedrates where the material removal rates are low.

This is in addition to existing features to reduce feedrates where there are fullwidth cuts or round corner cuts.

For more than 40 years, Tebis CAD/CAM and MES offers advanced solutions for model, pattern, die and mould making as well as mechanical component manufacturing. Tebis also helps customers to optimise CNC machining processes and to automate CAM work with intelligent manufacturing technologies.

With the latest Tebis release, there are many new features and extensions offering even more automation for design, data preparation, CAM programming and CNC machining process optimisation.
