Internal mounting or concealment behind door returns ensures that the hinge is protected from attempts to force removal of hinge pins or mounting screws. In many cases appropriate hinge selection enables door demounting once the door has been opened – with easy post-operation refitting.

They are suited to single cabinets or rows with surface mounted and flush doors. Fixing is by bolting, screws or welding.
