This expansion was supported by investments in new machinery, including solder wire drawing and paste mixing machines, enabling the company to enhance its production capabilities. These investments have also allowed SolderKing to meet the increasing demand for soldering materials across a range of applications, from hand soldering to robotic soldering.
An achievement this year was SolderKing’s receipt of a grant from The Growing Places Fund, which will support further research and development.
In recognition of its dedication to sustainability, SolderKing was awarded a Bronze sustainability rating by EcoVadis, placing it among the top 35% of companies assessed globally. This accolade highlights the company’s ongoing efforts to integrate sustainable practices into its operations, ensuring that it meets the highest environmental, ethical, and social standards.
Chris Ward, (pictured) chief operating officer of SolderKing, said: "2024 has been a transformative year for SolderKing.
