New torque screwdriver calibration machine to debut at FAST Live exhibition

FAST Live exhibition visitors will be amongst the first in the UK to see and be able to evaluate the all-new Universal Torque Screwdriver Calibration Machine being launched by AWS. The new device is scheduled for release in Q1 2020, and is set to be accompanied by a selection of intelligent inline torque transducers, professional transducer displays and bench testers on the company stand at FAST Live. Visitors will also be able to discuss the AWS Universal Torque Wrench Calibration machine pictured. Further, the company will offer visitors a hands-on demonstration of its Kepler 4 software at the event. This is designed to speed up completion of the calibration and certification process to comply with ISO 6789:2017, ISO 6789:2003, or for type approval requirements for manufacturers. Other highlights on the stand at FAST Live include the opportunity to see and discuss Excalibur Software from AWS, designed to meet BS 7882:2017 for calibration and classification of torque measuring devices.

These new products from AWS are amongst thousands of fastening, bonding and assembly-related products and solutions available from a visit to the FAST Live event on March 12th next year. It takes place at the superb British Motor Museum adjacent to the Aston Martin and JLR plants south of Warwick. Located just 1 minute from the M40, the museum houses almost 300 unique, rare and interesting vehicles highlighting the UK’s automotive heritage – and entry is free to all pre-registered FAST Live visitors! Also free to pre-registered visitors is a bacon roll and brew on arrival (before 10:30), plus free tea and coffee on site all day, as well as free parking right outside the door.
