Mechfast has many years of industry experience, an active customer and supplier network and a team of skilled professionals.
The integration process is being managed, with new members of the team, customers and suppliers already being successfully on-boarded.
Richard Johnson, Jet Press, commercial director & managing director designate, said: "We are excited about the opportunities this presents and are confident it will strengthen our position in the market while fostering continued growth and success for all of our partners.
Thank you for your continued support and trust. Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to reach out."
In March, Jet Press appointed Richard Johnson managing director from 1 May following the departure of Steve Cusick who is to retire after 36 years.
Over the past three years, Johnson has played a role in driving operational and commercial improvements across Jet Press, as well as forging new supplier partnerships.
From 1 January, Johnson has already assumed decision-making responsibilities in a managing director designate capacity. This gradual handover period ensures continuity and provides the team with the stability needed to achieve our ambitious long-term goals.
While Cusick will officially retire from his role as managing director in April, he will continue to be part of the Jet Press family, transitioning into a non-executive director role. In this capacity, he will offer guidance and support as we continue to build on the strong foundation he has helped establish.
Chairman Olly Guest said: "Steve joined Jet Press just a few years after the UK business was founded in 1985 by my Stepfather Gus Schwarz and Barry Perry. Since then, Steve has played an incredibly pivotal part in the company’s long-term success, in the last 5 or so years stewarding the business through all of the challenges and opportunities that significant world events have thrown at us all.”
