The launch of the NitroSpring range online marks a step in Lesjofors’ global e-commerce journey.

Henrik Furhoff, VP & head of business area standard at Lesjofors, commented: “The addition of the NitroSpring range strengthens our commitment to making high-quality solutions more accessible to customers around the world. Our growing webshop platform ensures that innovation is available wherever and whenever it’s needed – backed by the trusted quality and expertise Lesjofors is known for.”

The Lesjofors webshop is now accessible across the Nordics, Italy, Germany, Netherlands and Austria – with an expansion into Poland, Ireland and the Czech Republic coming soon.

Maximum force, minimal footprint

NitroSprings deliver maximum power in a compact size – up to 50% smaller than traditional alternatives – providing a high-performance, sustainable alternative for applications such as lifting, counterbalancing, damping, and clamping.

Built with compressed nitrogen and advanced NitroSpring technology, Lesjofors’ standard stock NitroSpring gas springs deliver forces up to 8000N. Custom designs can deliver forces up to 300,000N with stroke lengths from 7mm to 2000mm.

In May, the Lesjofors team in Latvia has demonstrated its dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship for a second consecutive year through a large-scale tree planting initiative.

The team came together to plant approximately 2,000 pine saplings – continuing a tradition that began last year.

Pine trees were chosen for their environmental significance and resilience. They grow rapidly, efficiently absorb carbon dioxide, and are well-suited to Latvia’s sandy soils. These trees play a vital role in stabilising land, preventing erosion, and supporting a rich diversity of wildlife, including birds, insects, mosses, and fungi. Beyond their ecological impact, pine forests hold cultural importance in Latvia and offer restorative benefits to human health and wellbeing.

Vita Pauzere, quality systems manager in Latvia, said: “As a company that relies on local resources to manufacture our metal components for industries across the globe, it is both fitting and meaningful that we invest in giving back to the environment. Initiatives like this not only promote corporate responsibility but also inspire a sense of personal accountability within our teams.
