Lacroix mainly supplies compression springs to customers in hydraulics and general industry in France. The company has 46 employees at its factory in Meung-sur-Loire in central France.

Lesjofors’s CEO, Ola Tengroth, said: “Lacroix is a well-managed company with a strong business culture and good strategic fit with Lesjofors. The company has a diversified customer base and has established a presence in attractive niches such as the medical and aerospace sectors. Through this acquisition, we have established our first factory in France, one of Europe’s largest spring markets, with the potential to cross-sell our existing product portfolio. I see great potential to continue developing the company as part of the Lesjofors Group.”

Lacroix’s CEO, Yohan Dutheil, will continue in his role after the acquisition.

The transaction will close in the second half of 2024.
