This is the first time the company has employment directly in the UK and with proximity to the EU. The initiative is twofold. The first being to develop and expand the distribution network for Workholding Solutions, Specialty Fasteners and Lifting Solution product groups. The second is to increase support for major OEMS's and end-users within the aerospace, defence, motorsport, marine, oil & gas, and general industry sectors standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 are a requirement.
Wills said: “As we have customer relationships here, we feel it is a must to have local presence with technical & commercial support and available products within the EU to meet the growing needs.”
Prior to joining Jergens, Wills was involved with business development, product management, manufacturing and engineering with Clarendon Specialty Fasteners, a distributor and manufacturer of fasteners. Before that, he was the sales director for Mold Systems, a tool manufacturer of injection moulds for automotive and medical component manufacturing customers.
