Founded in Southern California in 1953, Rexco manufactures release agents, buffing compounds, and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) parting films which can be used in the creation of plugs or for finished parts. Their tried-and-true Partall, Formula Five and Marbalease branded products have solidified their status as a trusted partner to the composite industry for nearly six decades.
Rexco offers three primary PVA parting films – #10, CoverAll, and OneCoat – which are used to form a barrier between parts and mould surfaces. These films are available in both water and alcohol-based formulations and with varying levels of solid content. The REXCO portfolio also features multiple paste waxes, along with slurry waxes specifically for polymer concrete and cultured marble.
Another notable line is its semi-permanent release system which consists of four key products: a mould cleaner, a mould sealer, and a choice of matte or glossy topcoat. This range is said to remove the guesswork for users, allowing them to easily select the correct product and achieve high-quality results.
