The Böllhoff Education Campus is being built on the factory premises on Archimedesstrasse. The project is part of a €5 million investment and is scheduled for completion in autumn 2024.

The campus is expected to create an open world of learning and further education for apprentices, students and employees.

The new building will combine technical training workshops with modern training and communication rooms on around 1,600 m². A smart factory laboratory for networking and robotics is also planned, as well as a joining technology forum. The latter is intended to make Böllhoff products tangible for schoolchildren, students, and guests, for example, as part of hands-on events and product training.

Hubert Romoth, head of training in Bielefeld, said: "Encounters and creative communication are the ideal basis for learning. With our Education Campus, we will, therefore, focus even more than before on joint projects and the exchange of information. Between apprentices in all disciplines, students and employees - but also with partner companies, start-ups and educational institutions."
