“Our teams can be proud of this groundbreaking innovation that combines bio-based materials made with a patented synthesis process and Bostik’s formulation knowledge of Instant adhesives. This product not only exemplifies our commitment to high performance but also underscores our dedication to sustainability with a significant portion of raw materials being bio-sourced. The launch of Fast Glue Ultra+ highlights Arkema’s unique capabilities in specialty materials, which enable us to develop innovative and sustainable solutions,” said Vincent Legros, CEO of Bostik.

Designed for a range of repair applications, Bostik Fast Glue Ultra+ is expected to offer strength, durability, and resistance to extreme conditions such as heat and water. Its eco-friendly formula ensures that consumers no longer must compromise between performance and sustainability. In addition to the advanced formula, the Bostik Fast Glue Ultra+ comes packaged in recycled and recyclable cardboard blisters and soon with tubes made from recycled aluminium.

Bostik Fast Glue Ultra+ is the result of Arkema’s positioning in specialty chemicals, leveraging a bio-based raw material derived from castor oil, and a newly patented synthesis route for cyanoacrylates developed by our R&D teams.

The product – available now in France under the brand Sader Répare Tout Extrême+ – will be introduced in the UK through Amazon by the end of the year. A broader release is planned for 2025 in Asia-Pacific and Europe.
