The DryLin W linear guide system from igus UK is claimed to be simple to install, economical, maintenance- free and insensitive to dirt. And to prove it the company has produced a video of the system in action.

By combining flexibility in design with simple installation, igus has come up with a cost-efficient preassembled system, offering best-in-class friction and wear resistance without the need for lubricants. The system is said to be insensitive to dirt thereby increasing reliability while reducing maintenance costs.

One of the system's advantages over traditional linear guide systems is its simplicity of installation. igus UK also boasts economy as the system is maintenance-free and insensitive to dirt. Linear guide systems are lightweight, as well as offer a low-noise operation and good torque absorption. They also have a number of special features, including low coefficients of friction in dry operation, high resistance to corrosion and wear, and provide for a flexible utilisation of installation space.
