Tools in tip-top condition

The best way of maintaining the tools in your fleet is to have them regularly serviced, so that they don’t get to the point of actually breaking down.

In addition to simply repairing tools, Zygology provides comprehensive tool servicing as well. A typical tool service will involve a complete strip down, de-greasing/cleaning of all parts, the replacement of all seals and worn parts, re-priming, re-setting as required and testing. Servicing can be arranged to fit in with shutdowns or down time to suit individual schedules. With prior arrangement and where a number of tools need attention, it will also come to a client’s premises to carry out repairs and service tools.

To enhance and develop the service further, Richard Polley – pictured here – has joined the company to manage and enhance the service on offer. He has a wealth of experience working in industry, states Zygology, and is keen to take the service to the next level. Meanwhile, for those who prefer to do their own repairs, the company offers a next-day spares service, along with expert advice on the parts likely to be required.

For those times when tool failures come at inconvenient times and can’t wait for your own tool to be sent back for repair, what they need is a working tool immediately. Alternatively, a contract may come your way where you require a certain tool type for just the length of the contract. To help with any such requirement, Zygology has a range of tools available on a short, medium or long terms basis.
