Titanium fasteners
Rino Industries has announced that it has introduced a range of titanium fasteners which are "suited to use in applications in the electronics and semi-conductor equipment fields".
The range includes socket head cap screws, Phillips cross-recessed machine pan, and flat head screws as well as hexagon nuts and washers. The products are made from type I TW270 or type II TP340C titanium.
The light-weight properties of the material "also make it suitable for use in the automobile, aircraft, spacecraft, medical instrument, and robot sectors", reports Rino's Amanda Laughton.
Titanium is non-magnetic and this means that flat panel display and semi-conductor equipment as well as electronics can be handled. Seawater resistance and chemical resistance for electrochemical plating and aquatic applications are also areas in which the products can be used.
Sizes range from M3 to M12.
