Split rings and buckles
Berkeley manufactures spring steel split rings and buckles and metal fittings. In addition, the company also is the sole distributor in the United Kingdom for the Duraflex range of plastic buckle hardware.
"With a large range of standard products and in-house capacity for heat treatment, polishing, and nickel plating we can usually find a solution to fixing problems", reports Berkeley's Tony Hotchkiss.
Over 20 new products have been introduced by the company in the past year and all will be on show at the Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition at the RAF Museum, Cosford, on 30 April.
Also highlighted will be Berkeley's work with a helmet manufacturer to make its metal buckle stronger and more suitable for a new design, and its involvement in recommending the most suitable plastic hook for a range of products using shock cord.
