Speed riveting system reduces assembly time
The Avdel Speed Riveting system has been around for a few years now – but it remains as innovative as ever with many new customers finding out how speed riveting can reduce assembly time and improve quality.
The system comes with a large range of high clamp rivets for standard metal to metal applications. For more fragile assemblies such as plastics, PCBs and other brittle materials there is a range of fasteners which produce lower installation force. Specifically for the electronics industry the system offers a series of special solutions including stand-off pillars, attachments for din connectors, TO 220 type packages as well as the Rivscrew removable fastener for the assembly of service components.
Installation tooling is available in a variety of options, such as the recently introduced hand held 7537 as well as bench mounted pantograph or fixed workstations and tailor made multi head solutions.
