Paddle latch redesigned for the better
Weston Body Hardware tells us that it has redesigned its traditional paddle latch with some major improvements in function and specification.
This new model will not corrode, will resist entry of water and is quickly installed without visible bolts or rivets.
The new product is resistant to water-penetration and acoustically quiet. It has the same aperture size as earlier WBH paddles but now there are no visible fixing holes and the product can be simply installed into a simple cut-out with the U-brackets provided using the integral gasket.
The textured finish of the self-coloured moulding is corrosion-resistant and the special hook-latch action with the moulded block ensures smooth and secure engagement. This design replaces conventional slam-bolts with a spring-loaded stainless steel hook that projects vertically from the back of the paddle case, giving much smoother action.
