Online distributor expands fastener portfolio

Stella Seven, the online-only distributor for Alcoa Fastening Systems, has just completed one year of trading and to celebrate has added items to its product portfolio from Recoil, Marson and the Camloc Keenserts range.
The automotive range kit from Recoil is essentially five metric-sized kits in one, including M6-1, M8-1.25, M9-1.25, M10-1.5 and M12-1.5. It can be used to repair damaged threads in a variety of automotive applications such as wheel bolts, spark plugs, brake callipers, oil sump and drain plugs.
Marson precision-moulded all-nylon rivets are ideal for non-conductive, non-corrosive environments, with the potential to fasten plastic to plastic, plastic to metal and plastic to fibre-glass. On installation, three `legs' on the blind side form to securely lock the components in place and prevent pullout.
Keenserts are high strength, vibration-resistant solid inserts, with a thread-locking feature designed to hold the insert in place. They are made from stainless steel and utilised in alloys, steel and cast iron to increase the strength of the thread in these materials. No special tools are required for installation and standard taps and drills may be used for hole preparation.
