One stroke setting tool uses all plastic expansion rivets
Motor manufacturers use plastic rivets for many applications on today's cars. When necessary, these rivets must be replaced with an equivalent that meets or exceeds OEM specifications.
The new POPSet Plastic Rivet Tool Kit from Emhart Teknologies was designed to meet these OEM requirements and has been based around the long-established 60930 plastic rivet tool. The kit includes 100 of the four most popular sizes of plastic rivets.
The 60930 tool was developed with automotive applications in mind, where space and accessibility is limited. It's long reach and one-stroke setting provide flexibility when doing repairs in areas such as wheel wells, door panels and bumper fascia. The universal nosepiece allows the user the ability to set all sizes of plastic rivets without ever changing the original set-up.
POP plastic rivets will hold panels of a wide variety of materials, metal or plastic. They are particularly effective for soft materials such as rubber or padded fabrics.
