Moulded lift-off hinges
Moulded lift-off hinges from WBH have been specifically designed to prevent dirt and debris entering between the hinge halves and the pin, thus eliminating stiffness and uneven action.
Using composite moulded materials it is possible for grooves to be provided in each face, enabling an 'O' ring to be fitted to create a hinge that is long-lasting and smooth acting in the most arduous of applications and environments. Additional benefits include complete corrosion resistance and a textured black finish.
The new models are 'handed' left and right, and are alternatives to WBH's fabricated steel hinges. A stainless steel hinge pin is fitted as standard. Load test results give maximum working loads of 10-87 kN (Axial) and 2-42 kN (Radial). Endurance tests are also available on request.
