Metal joining
At the Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition at the RAF Museum, Cosford, on 30 April, Bollhoff, a TS-16949 accredited manufacturer, will be introducing the RivQuick break-stem blind rivet range in standard and structural categories.
This will complement its metal joining product family which includes RivSet self-piercing rivets and RivClinch mechanical clinching.
The fastening systems to be exhibited are part of the Bollhoff family of threaded and non-threaded systems for cold joining dissimilar sheet materials, some without the need for a prepared hole and some with access to only one side. "Eliminating the need for riveting and spot-welding the technology provides fast, quiet, emission-free solutions to the problems of joining modern materials in a simple, cost-effective process", says Bollhoff's Andy Witts.
