Lock features in award-winning parking post
At its base in Rugby, Warwickshire, Autopa manufactures parking posts, bollards, barriers, etc. Its latest telescopic parking post, the Retractapost TL, has been awarded a gold grade by Sold Secure, a non-profit-making organisation that assesses security products.
The award-winning product makes use of the T8 Octagon lock from Camlock Systems which features more than five million different key combinations, a drill-resistant hardened steel body and centre, doubly secure retention of internal components to resist drive-through attacks, and a special head profile.
Michael Shufflebottom, product development manager at Autopa, reports that the company "set out to achieve the Sold Secure gold standard for the parking post so specified the best security components and materials. When it came to the test, Camlock's Octagon lock lived up to our expectations
