Hand-held dispenser
A hand-held dispenser for fixing hot-melt dots to a wide range of surfaces will be displayed on the stand of Glue Dots International at the Fastening & Assembly Solutions exhibition at the RAF Museum, Cosford, on 30 April.
The 'Dot Shot Pro' is a new product that is stated to offer easy application of double-sided adhesive dots. "No mess and the provision of an instant bond when fixing products", says Mike Silson. "We have solved application problems in the food and pharmaceutical industries within the sampling and packaging processes."
Designed to fit in to the hand the Dot Shot Pro "dramatically increases the speed at which Glue Dots can be applied making it suitable for packaging, printing, mail and fulfilment, point of purchase, etc.", says Mike Silson. Made from impact-resistance polycarbonate it is light in weight and has a triggerless design that makes it safe for repetitive use.
