Elesa has added to its range of electrostatic discharge compatible standard machine components with the introduction of a grab handle and three variants of its BT fluted grip knob.
The company expects that uses for the products will be found in the field of electronic assembly such as in chip insertion equipment, printed circuit board testing, and sub-assembly handling equipment "where their ability to deal with the build-up of electrostatic is important", says Elesa's Nigel Pritchett.
The M443-ESD grab handle is available in 107mm and 134mm sizes, in black. The BT knobs - also in black - have male or female fixings as well as an open-ended insert option which allows installation at an intermediate position on a threaded shaft. They are offered in sizes from 16mm to 32mm (outside diameter) with thread fixings from M5 to M10.
