Digital fluid dispenser

The SL101 is a self-teach digital bench-top dispenser introduced by I&J Fisnar, the USA-based company whose products are distributed in the United Kingdom by Intertronics.

Features include a bright liquid-crystal display, ten memory locations to automatically cycle ten self-taught programs, and touch-sensitive controls to program dispense periods from 0.01 to 9999 seconds. Auto-cycling is one of the three operation modes available; the other two are manual, enabling a dispense operation to be controlled by a foot-pedal, and timed - dispensing at a preset time. Systems are offered in 110V and 230V versions; air input is from 70lb/in² to 100lb/in²; dispense output air pressure can be programmed from 1lb/in² to 100lb/in². An adjustable suck-back feature prevents post-dispense dripping and oozing. The auto-cycling feature operates by sequencing a self-taught cycle of events including a dispense-time together with a wait or pause condition between the cycles. This is stated to allow the SL101 to be used as a stand-alone, semi-automated dispensing system.
