In the two years that have elapsed since SFC was acquired, many changes have been implemented, with the objective of providing a more complete service to its customer base in its core aerospace, defence, motorsport and industrial markets.
John Hunt, managing director, is confident that the brand is now in a very strong position: "The SFC design and manufacture capabilities are an important part of our service offering which we can more readily promote to our customers if we trade under a single brand. Combining SFC’s capabilities with Clarendon’s growing range of "off the shelf" fastening products enables customers to benefit from greater choice, availability and innovation.
"We will continue to invest in the Totnes facility, which will remain our centre for design and manufacturing, along with sales for the Defence and Industrial markets. The Aerospace and Motorsport sales office in Leicester and our distribution centre in Swindon remain unchanged," concludes Hunt.
