Cable tie-mounts and hooks
PEM self-clinching cable tie-mounts and hooks, available from PennEngineering, are stated to provide secure attachment points for mounting wires and cables to electronic chassis and enclosures.
"The TY-D hardware can be installed quickly and permanently without screws or adhesives", says Michael Rossi. "A further benefit is that their locations and positions can be set during the design process to provide optimal layout for wires and cables during final assembly."
The TY-D family includes TD cable tie-mounts and TDO hooks, both available in several sizes for installation in metal sheets from 1.02mm to 3.18mm in thickness. The hardware remains secure at designed locations and angles, and panels on the reverse side of the installation remain flush and are without any opening that may minimise EMI/RFI and potential contamination of electronics by dirt or dust.
