Automatic screwdriving just became more accessible

The LCM4 incorporates a number of proven Weber features to provide a fast, reliable and precise method of inserting screws. The new manual hand screwdriver has been pre-configured for use with most common screw sizes, minimising design and manufacturing costs to enable the product to be offered at an extremely competitive price. It features plug and play functionality; users simply position the screwdriving gun and press the trigger bar. The screwdriver bit then advances automatically without rotation for ease of positioning and interlocks with the head of the screw, engaging the locking clutch and starting the screwdriver turning. The device tightens the screw to the set torque and, as the trigger bar is released, the screwdriver retracts and a new screw is automatically loaded. The entire fastening process is PLC controlled making the screwdriver easy to operate with no specialist training. As the tool features automatic bit advance, the need for manual compression of the nose piece is eliminated, simplifying the operation further.
