Two part instant adhesives now available for sampling

Panacol has introduces three newly developed two component cyanoacrylate adhesives, which have demonstrated superior performance during extensive testing, it is claimed. Cyanolit 510, Cyanolit 520 and Cyanolit 530 are now available for sampling.

The new adhesives are based on a two component cyanoacrylate technology, which provides full cure in uncovered areas such as edge overflows or fillet welds. The adhesives' high viscosities also allow large gap filling up to 5 mm, and drip-free dispensing for less waste and higher quality.

They are easy to handle and are dispensed from double-cartridges with microstatic mixers to control the curing cycle. Just like single component cyanoacrylates, curing takes places instantly when two substrates are pressed together. But unlike conventional products, the two components cure independent of humidity in the air, providing consistent speed of cure. Scrap costs associated with half-full bottles of polymerised adhesive can be eliminated.

The three grades of Cyanolit adhesive were formulated for specific purposes:510 has excellent adhesion to metal substrates; 520 is suitable for bonding plastics and polycarbonates; and 530 features a flexible formulation with a great strain capacity for versatile applications
