The ‘weight’ is over!

Fitsco has launched a new, innovative range of inserts, made out of plastic, unveiling its latest breakthrough at the recent Interplas'17 show, NEC, Birmingham.

The inserts are described as a totally new 'patent pending' product range, which will be of great interest to people who are trying to achieve significant weight-savings. The inserts promise savings of up to 80% in the weight department, as well as the range being ‘green’ and recyclable, states the company.

The lack of metal will be seen as a big lure for many users, Fitsco believes. “This new range will be of great interest to designers, especially those who are involved in the automotive, aerospace, medical and other markets where weight-saving is an important criterion. We're always innovating new ways of providing the best solution to suit customer demands and offer inserts in a range of materials, full technical support, ensuring the best product is chosen to suit an application and the view that ‘anything is possible’,” Fitsco adds.

Fitsco currently manufactures more than 750,000 inserts per month in its Bridgnorth, Shropshire, premises and, due to a recent increase in a worldwide demand for its products, is planning a relocation to a larger facility in the not too distant future. “The move to a different part of the Midlands will allow us to install more machines, taking advantage of a strong manufacturing base in the area,” it confirms.
